Myanmar fighters set to headline ONE Friday Fights 140 in Thailand
MYANMAR fighters Thway Lin Htet and Son Rak are set to compete in the main event and co-main event, respectively, at ONE Friday Fights 140, taking place today in Thailand at 5:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
The event features these two Myanmar athletes at the top of the card: Thway Lin Htet headlines the main event, while Son Rak features in the co-main event.
ONE Championship continues to provide consistent opportunities for Myanmar’s fighters, frequently scheduling them to headline consecutive events. Last Friday, at ONE Friday Fights 139, four Myanmar athletes competed, with Soe Lin Oo leading the card in the main event.
In today’s bouts, Thway Lin Htet faces Thai fighter Kongchai, while Son Rak takes on another Thai opponent, Buakhiao.
Thway Lin Htet has competed in seven bouts under the ONE Championship banner, recording five wins and two losses. After a streak of four consecutive victories, he suffered a defeat on points in his most recent outing against the veteran Thai fighter, Sam-A. His opponent, Kongchai, brings significant experience to the ring, having won nine of his 15 bouts in the promotion.
