5 bodies found after temple fire in western Japan

In western Japan, authorities say five bodies have been recovered after a temple burned down in a fire.

It happened on Friday in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

A local fire station received a call at around 2:30 a.m. that smoke was seen coming out of the building.

Crews put out the fire in about three hours.

Police say a family of five, including two children, is believed to be living at the temple. Investigators say all of them are unaccounted for.
