MoFA Union Minister receives Lao-Myanmar Friendship Association Chairman

U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Chanthavong Seneamatmontry, Chairman of the Lao-Myanmar Friendship Association (Vice-Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee, National Assembly of Lao PDR) and members, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 

During the courtesy call, they discussed matters about the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation in the sectors of trade, investment, electricity, religious affairs, culture, tourism, labour affairs and promotion of people-to-people contacts. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ambassador of Lao PDR to Myanmar, the chairman of the Myanmar-Lao Friendship Association and members from both friendship associations were also present. — MNA
