2026 Matriculation Examination Begins Peacefully in Tedim Township

The 2026 matriculation examination began peacefully today at the No. 1 Basic Education High School examination centre in Tedim Township, Chin State, with students sitting for the Myanmar language subject.

During the examination, Chairman of the District Management and Administration Committee U Zaw Naing Oo and members, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee U Phyo Win Than and his team visited the centre to inspect security arrangements and ensure that the examination was conducted smoothly.

Of the 321 registered candidates, 302 students sat for the examination, representing an attendance rate of 94.08 per cent.— Township IPRD
