Summer paddy and sesame cultivated in Kyaukse Tsp.

            Kyaukse Township targets to cultivate 353 acres of summer paddy and 4,028 acres of summer sesame using irrigation water from Tamoke Drain in 10 village-tracts in Kyaukse District, Mandalay Rgion. So far, 125 acres of summer paddy and 869 acres of summer sesame have been cultivated.

            With the irrigation water from the Tamoke Drain, 20 acres of summer paddy and 30 acres of summer sesame in Latpanbin village-tract, 50 acres of sesame in Maezalbin village, 53 acres of sesame in Tansoe village-tract, 51 acres of sesame in Thangedaw village, 50 acres of paddy and 150 acres of summer sesame in Pwettaine village-tract, 20 acres of paddy and 50 acres of sesame in MyaungU village-tract, 35 acres of paddy and 230 acres of sesame in Anauk Thargaya village-tract, 150 acres in Ywarpalae village-tract, 50 acres of sesame in Katae village-tract and 55 acres of sesame in Panun village-tract have been cultivated, according to the Township Land Records Department.
