People welcome frontline Tatmadaw members

 

FRONTLINE Tatmadaw per­sonnel who carried out secu­rity operations for State sta­bility and local peace around the Muse area in Shan State (North) were warmly wel­comed back at a ceremony held at a local battalion in Mongtwan, Shan State (East), yesterday afternoon.

 

The event was attended by Triangle Region Com­mand Commander Maj-Gen Soe Myat Htut, along with officials, officers, soldiers, family members, members of the Myanmar War Veterans Organization, departmental personnel and local ethnic residents.

 

The commander and par­ty welcomed back the victori­ous Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia. The event included traditional dance and music performances. The commander also presented cash prizes and commodities to the returnees. — MNA/ KTZH
