selected to attend People’s Military Service Training Batch 24 have arrived at
their respective training depots located within various command areas and have
carried out the necessary preparatory arrangements.
Yesterday

As
every citizen has a responsibility to safeguard the our three national causes
– non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national solidarity,
and perpetuation of sovereignty – the People’s Military Service Law was enacted
on 10 February 2024 to enable citizens to receive military training and to
undertake national defence duties. Accordingly, People’s Military Service
training programmes have been conducted.
Graduates
of these People’s Military Service training courses are now serving diligently
in their assigned battalions and units, fulfilling their duties in national
defence and security. — MNA/MKKS
