Drinking Water Donated to Villagers in Nyaung-U Township

Nyaung-U, April 24

The Phyusin Myetta and Thumingalar Water Donation Association, led by Sayadaw Bhaddanta Sagara, patron of the Bagan Yadana Bon San Towra Dhamma Yeiktha Monastery in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region, visited Zee O and Dan Kyin villages on April 23 and distributed drinking water using a water truck.

During this donation, the association provided 3,200 gallons of water to residents of Zee O Village and 6,400 gallons to residents of Dan Kyin Village, for a total of 9,600 gallons. The water was distributed according to the population of each village to help ensure an adequate supply of drinking water for all residents.

The Phyusin Myetta and Thumingalar Water Donation Association continues to distribute drinking water daily with the support of donors from near and far, aiming to ensure that rural communities in the township have sufficient access to drinking water during the summer season.—Ye Win Naing (Nyaung-U)
