LBVD bids to procure medicines
THE Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, called for suppliers to submit an open tender for the procurement of medicines.
The department invited again suppliers for the submission of price proposals for the procurement of 13 types of veterinary medicines with the State Funds and 68 types of laboratory equipment, 22 types of operational equipment, two types of laboratory furniture, 16 types of office equipment, and 12 types of office furniture with Approved Capital Expenditures and 30 types of laboratory operational supplies, one type of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD Trivalent) vaccine for cattle and buffalo, one type of Rabies vaccine with approved other capital expenditure and 155 types of laboratory chemicals and media with current expenditure.
Tender proposal forms can be obtained from 2 April, during office hours at the LBVD’s Administrative division, Procurement and Storage session at Office 36 in Nay Pyi Taw. Tender submission is by 23 April, with a one per cent PO cheque accepted. The date for the opening of tenders will be announced in due course.
