14 teams to compete in MNL U20 League
A total of 14 teams will compete in the 2026-2027 MNL U20 Youth League, which will begin on 23 May.
The Myanmar National League will release the fixture list in the coming days and is currently conducting age verification checks for participating players.
Teams set to compete include Shan United FC, Yangon United FC, Dagon Star United FC, Institute of Sports and Physical Education, Hanthawady United FC, Maha United FC, Yadanabon FC, Ayeyawady United FC, Thitsa Arman, Chinland, Myawady and Yangon City FC, along with two Myanmar youth national teams.
The Myanmar National League resumed its youth competitions in 2024 and has alternated between U20 and U21 tournaments each year. Shan United FC won the 2024 MNL U20 League, while Dagon Star United FC won the 2025 MNL U21 League. — Shine Htet Zaw/KZL
