20,000 Seedlings Distributed to Local Residents in Tangyan Township

The Township Forest Department in Tangyan Township, Shan State (North), is distributing shade and perennial tree seedlings free of charge to local residents during the rainy season to promote environmental conservation and greening activities.


A total of 20,000 seedlings have been grown at No. 1 Myoma Temporary Nursery and No. 2 Nursery under the Township Forest Department. The seedlings include 2,000 mezali, 1,000 teak, 1,000 khatawmi, 2,000 manjasha, 1,000 eucalyptus, 800 pine, 2,000 cherry, 1,000 panwa, and 2,000 yamane trees.
