CBM Governor receives Pakistani Ambassador

GOVERNOR of the Central Bank of Myan­mar Dr Khin Naing Oo received Pakistani Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Tariq Karim and his delegation at the Central Bank of Myanmar meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 

The two sides discussed ways to pro­mote trade between Myanmar and Pa­kistan, establish correspondent banking relationships between the two countries, provide human resources and technical assistance in banking matters, strength­en cooperation between the two central banks, and exchange views on interna­tional financial affairs.

 

The meeting was also attended by vice-governors and officials from the Cen­tral Bank of Myanmar. — MNA/MKKS
