Funds handed over to members of VDP in Mindon Township

            A ceremony to hand over funds for the village development project was held at the meeting hall of Mindon Township Department of Rural Development on 26 May.

            First, the Chairman of the Township Administration Committee gave remarks and an official from the Township Department of Rural Development explained the purpose of fund disbursement and the current situation.

Then, the Chairman handed over K 15 million of funds to members of Tada (Ywama) village development committee for the developmental projects. A concrete road measuring 550 ft in length, 12 ft in width and six inches in volume will be implemented by the local residents under the close supervision of departmental officials.
