Over 30,000 acres of monsoon paddy to be cultivated in Kyunhla Township

Over 30,000 acres of monsoon paddy will be cultivated in Kyunhla Township, Kantbalu District, Sagaing Region during this monsoon season, according to the Township Department of Agriculture.
"In Kyunhla Township, 33,275 acres have been targeted for monsoon paddy cultivation this rainy season. Farmers are using the raised-bed nursery system, conventional transplanting system, and direct seed sowing system for monsoon cultivation," said an official from the Township Agricultural Department.
Officials from the Township Department are sharing agricultural knowledge with farmers to help them choose high-quality seeds, cultivate systematically and use organic fertilizers and pesticides for paddy cultivation.
In the township, paddy varieties such as Ayarmin, Manaw Thukha, Sin Thukha, Shwe Thweyin, Chan Myae May and Aung Naing Toe are being cultivated.
