Indian Navy warships arrive in Yangon for 3-day goodwill visit




INDIAN Navy warships INS Satpura (F-48) and INS Sunay­na (P-57) arrived at the MITT Jetty at Thilawa Port in Yangon yesterday evening for a goodwill visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.


The warships were wel­comed by senior officers and naval personnel from the Tat­madaw (Navy).

Carrying a total of 527 of­ficers and other ranks, the ves­sels will remain for three days, until 6 May.


During their stay, the crew members will visit well-known landmarks in Yangon and par­ticipate in friendly sports com­petitions. — MNA/MKKS
