Kanbalu Township Disburses 2026 Monsoon Crop Loans under 100-Day Plan
Kanbalu, May 13
The Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank (MADB) in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, launched the 2026 Monsoon Crop Loan program under the Government’s 100-Day Plan at 1:00 pm on May 12 at the Zeyar Shwe Myay Village Hall.
During the ceremony, U Ko Ko Hlaing, Chairman of the District Management and Administration Committee, delivered an opening address, while Daw San San Aye, Manager of the District Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank, explained the policies, terms, and regulations governing the 2026 Monsoon Crop Loan program.
Following the ceremony, loans totaling K25.5 million were disbursed to 26 farmers from Ward No. 4 in Kanbalu Township. The loans were issued at a rate of K300,000 per acre for a total of 85 acres of monsoon paddy cultivation.
The bank will continue providing agricultural loans to farmers engaged in rice cultivation who have repaid their previous loans on time.— Aung Win Nyein (Kanbalu)
