MCFA, YPPAFFC discuss holding Myanmar-China friendship event in 2026
THE Myanmar-China Friendship Association-MCFA (Central) and the Kunming City branch of the Yunnan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (YPPAFFC) discussed holding a Myanmar-China friendship event in 2026, according to the MCFA (Central).
The MCFA (Central) officials met those from the Kunming branch of the YPPAFFC in Kunming.
During the meeting, the delegation led by Ms Wang Yu, Chairman of the YPPAFFC, and U Tin Oo, Chairman of the MCFA (Central), discussed the future plans, people-to-people friendship, cooperation, and the holding of a unique bilateral friendship event this year.
After the meeting, the Chairman of the YPPAFFC presented the Chairman of the MCFA (Central), with an honorary membership certificate in recognition of his efforts to promote friendship between the two countries. — ASH/TH
