MoC Union Minister calls for double export target this FY

EFFORTS must be made to double the export target this financial year, while identifying and addressing the challenges faced by export entrepreneurs to promote exports and ensuring coordination among relevant ministries and organizations to assist exporters, said Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, who is also Chairman of the Central Committee on Ensuring Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods.

 

The Union minister remarked this at the Central Committee on Ensuring Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods Work Coordination Meeting 1/2026 held yesterday afternoon at the committee office meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw. He added that efforts must be made to ensure the timely repatriation of export earnings, the smooth distribution of fuel and edible oil, and an increase in exports of CMP products. — MNA/MKKS
