Myanmar drawn in World Cup Sepak Takraw groups

GROUP-STAGE fixtures for the 2026 World Cup Sepak Takraw Championship featuring the Myanmar national team have been released.

The tournament will be held in Malaysia from 16 to 23 May, with Myanmar competing in all three event categories.

In the Regu event, My­anmar was drawn in Group C alongside Vietnam, China and Indonesia.

In the quadrant event, My­anmar will compete in Group A with China and Brunei.

 

In the team event, Myan­mar was placed in Group B to­gether with Malaysia and India.

The Myanmar squad in­cludes manager U Myint Lwin Htay and coaches U Kyaw Min Soe and U Aung Myo Swe, along with players Zin Min Oo, Thant Zin Htun, Aung Myo Kyaw, Chit Loon Poe, Shane Wunna Zaw, Yan Paing Oo, Min Thant Thu, Han Win Htut, Ye Htet, Aung Aung, Thet Paing Soe and Shin Thant. — Chit Ko Ko/KZL
