Myanmar, Nepal discuss cooperation in education policy, research sectors

ACCORDING to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal U Thant Sin and officials from the Nepal Development Research Institute (NDRI), one of Nepal’s leading think tank organizations, held discussions at the Myanmar Em­bassy in Kathmandu, Nepal, on cooperation between Myanmar and Nepal in the fields of educa­tional policy and research.

 

During the discussions, the two sides exchanged views on the possibility of holding edu­cational policy forums between Myanmar and Nepal in the fu­ture, opportunities for knowl­edge-sharing and cooperation between the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) and NDRI, and an invitation for the Myanmar Ambassador to attend the 23^rd anniversary ceremony of NDRI to be held in May. — ASH/MKKS
