School Enrolment Day Ceremony Held for 2026–2027 Academic Year in Meiktila

A School Enrolment Day Ceremony for the 2026–2027 academic year was held at 9:00 am today at Kandaw Mingalar Hall of No. 2 Basic Education High School in Meiktila, Mandalay Region.

The ceremony opened with students from No. 2 B.E.H.S. singing the Myanmar school song. U Aung Myint Oo, Chairman of the District Management and Administration Committee, then delivered an opening address.

During the event, outstanding students selected at the district level received awards, while students enrolling for the new academic year were provided with school textbooks, notebooks, stationery, and school uniforms donated by the Government.

The items and awards were presented by U Aung Myint Oo, Chairman of the District Management and Administration Committee; Dr. Bahan, Rector of Meiktila University; Colonel Aung Si Phyo from the local military base; Daw Maw Maw, District Education Officer; Hluttaw representatives; and other officials.

The ceremony concluded with students from No. 1 B.E.H.S. performing the national anthem.— Chantha (Meiktila)
