Science & Tech Union Minister visits Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, meets Myanmar scholarship students

UNION Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw, who is currently in Nizhny Novgorod, the Russian Federation, met the rector, pro-rector, professors, and officials at the meeting hall of the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University (NNSTU) yesterday morning and held discussions on potential cooperation between universities in Myanmar and NNSTU.

The Union minister then observed the lecture halls and laboratories of the university.

He also met the Myanmar scholarship students in Nizhny Novgorod and comforted them.

On arrival at the ANO Gorky Tech, the Union minister observed its activities in connecting and cooperating with regional IT companies.

ANO Gorky Tech is an Autonomous Non-Profit Organization (ANO) established as an IT development centre to support regional IT companies, foster new technology companies, and coordinate the development of the region’s entire digital sector. — MNA/ KTZH
