U18 National Football semifinals held in Yangon
THE 2026 Inter-State and Region U18 Men’s Football Tournament semifinals were held at Padonma Stadium in Sangyoung Township and Padetha Stadium in South Okkalapa Township, Yangon, at 3 pm yesterday, organized by the Ministry of Sports and coordinated with regional governments and the Myanmar Football Federation.
In the first semifinal at Padonma Stadium, Kayin State defeated Ayeyawady Region 4 to 2. In the second match at Padetha Stadium, Shan State beat Kachin State 4 to 1.
The third-place playoff between Ayeyawady Region and Kachin State will be held at 3 pm on 2 June at the Youth Training Centre, Thuwunna Football Training Ground 1. The final match between Kayin State and Shan State will take place at 4 pm at Thuwunna Stadium. Admission is free for football fans. — MNA/KZ
