Officials Inspect Completion of Concrete Road Paving Work in Taikkyi Township

Officials
from the Township Department of Rural Development in Taikkyi Township, Yangon
Region, inspected the completed concrete road paving projects in Kyaung Kone
and Setsu villages this morning. The projects were implemented under the
government's 100-day plan.
During the
inspection, Daw Thida Swe, Staff Officer of the Yangon Region Department of
Rural Development, examined the completed road works in both villages. The
projects were carried out under the Village Development Project (VDP) of the
new government's public development initiative to improve transportation and
facilitate the movement of local residents.
The concrete
road, measuring 411 feet in length, 10 feet in width, and six inches in
thickness, was constructed at a total cost of K24 million. Of this amount, K15
million was provided by the Union Government, while K9 million was contributed
