Emerald Green Project Funds Disbursed in Pwintbyu Township

Pwintbyu, July 10

The Rural Development Department in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region, disbursed the eighth round of Village Emerald Green Project funds at Kyun Pin Sin Village on Friday morning.

U Hla Htay Maung, Head of the Township Rural Development Department, explained the project's objectives, benefits, and operational guidelines to members of the Village Emerald Green Project Committee. Project staff also briefed participants on the project cycle, interest rates, and financial management procedures.

The township department then disbursed K35.4 million in project funds. Of the total, K18.4 million was allocated to 80 farmers, K15.3 million to 77 livestock breeders, K1 million to four traders, and K0.7 million to two small-scale business operators, benefiting a total of 163 members.— Hlaing Win Lay (Pwintbyu Myay)
