Gold traders face 6-month renewal deadline

HOLDERS of mineral (gold) trading service business licences must be renewed six months in advance of the expiry date, according to the Yangon Region Gold En­trepreneurs Association. When renewing the li­cence, applicants can use the MyanGold application to apply for a new busi­ness licence online. Those who do not like to use the MyanGold application can also submit their ap­plications to the relevant preliminary screening teams. Once the licence is approved, it can be collected from the No 2 Mining Enterprise in Nay Pyi Taw.

Gold shops are re­quired to submit their daily gold trading records before midnight each day if they use the MyanGold application.

The Business Licence Screening Team will open the Gmail accounts for the gold shops to use the MyanGold Application and provide each shop with a username and password. The team will form a Viber group and provide train­ing via Zoom on how to use the system. — ASH/KK
