Taunggyi’s RBF pig farming activities inspected
THE Department of Rural Development,
under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, Taunggyi District,
Shan State (South), conducted a field inspection to review the progress of pig
farming activities implemented under the Rural Economic Development Fund
Establishment Project (RBF) in Hpetpone Village, Taunggyi Township,
yesterday.

Head U Nyunt Win, Township Department of Rural Development Head U Zaw Win and
officials observed the group-based pig farming activities carried out by four
groups and inspected feed storage conditions. He met RBF group members to
discuss feed prices, production costs, and market selling prices, coordinating
necessary arrangements based on local requirements.
The income-generating pig farming
activities in Hpetpone Village are being implemented using an RBF project seed
fund of K30 million, along with contributions from group members, to
successfully operate and expand their businesses to ensure increased household
