Ayeyawady FC Women ramp up training ahead of AFC Women’s Champions League
AYEYAWADY FC Women are stepping up
their preparations for the upcoming AFC Women’s Champions League (AWCL), in
which they will represent Myanmar as the reigning Myanmar Women’s League champions.
Group F matches will be held at Thuwunna
Stadium in Yangon from 17 to 23 August. Ayeyawady will open their campaign
against Singapore’s Albirex Jurong before taking on Lebanon’s No Limits. Their
final group match will be against Chinese Taipei’s New Taipei Hang Yuan.
With only the group winners advancing
from the four-team preliminary stage, the final match could prove decisive in
determining which team progresses to the next round.
