MADB Continues Monsoon Crop Loan Disbursement in Myittha Township

The Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (MADB) branch in Myittha Township, Mandalay Region, is continuing to disburse monsoon crop loans for the 2026–2027 financial year.

Since the loan programme began on May 15, the bank has provided more than K3115 million in loans to 2,273 farmers from 37 village tracts who fully repaid their 2025 monsoon crop loans. The loans cover 10,576 acres at rates of K300,000 per acre for paddy and K250,000 per acre for other crops.

According to the township MADB branch, loan disbursement will continue for eligible farmers in the remaining village tracts.— War War Myint (Myittha)
