MTSH, GCLSI to jointly develop 200-MW solar power project in Myanmar
YANGON Stock Exchange-listed Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings Public Co Ltd (MTSH) will jointly implement a 200-megawatt solar power project with GCL System Integration Technology Co Ltd (GCLSI), a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based GCL Group, according to an MTSH statement.
The solar power project is expected to fully meet the electricity needs of MTSH and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies. The partnership will also enable the companies to jointly assess the feasibility of power-generation projects in Myanmar and gain energy-related technical expertise from GCLSI. — TWA/KNN
