Outstanding Students Honored in Myeik Township

Myeik Township Education Savings and Loan Cooperative Society Limited held a scholarship award ceremony on August 9 at its office on Strand Road, Yepon Ward, Myeik Township, Tanintharyi Region.

The ceremony honored children of cooperative members who passed the 2026 matriculation exam. Daw San San Moe, Staff Officer of the Myeik Township Cooperative Department, Daw Thein Sint, Township Education Officer, and U Hla Kyi, Chairman of the Township Cooperative Society, delivered congratulatory remarks, while Chairman U Tin Maung Swe, the Township Education Savings and Loan Cooperative Society Limited explained the purpose of the ceremony.

Scholarships ranging from K100,000 to K300,000 were presented to 29 students based on their examination results. A total of 75 people attended the ceremony, and a cooperative member expressed gratitude on behalf of the recipients and members.—Myint Oo (Myeik)
