Preparation of temporarily floods rescue camps inspected in Sinbaungwe
Sinbaungwe 13 August
Authorities inspected the preparatory measures for
opening flood rescue camps in Sinbaungwe, Aunglan District, Magway Region due
to rising water levels in the Ayeyawaddy River on 13 August.
During the inspection tour, the Acting-Chairman of the
Township Management and Administration Committee along with departmental
officials examined waterway conditions and flood warning alerts issued to the
public and the preparatory measures for the camps.
Then,
the officials urged rescue operation teams to remain on standby in case of
flooding and encouraged the public to monitor updated flood news released by
the relevant departments.
