Progress of water plant construction in Chaungtak village inspected

            Officials from Chauk Township Department of Rural Development inspected a water plant construction in Chaungtak village, Chauk Township, Magway Region on 24 August.

During the visit, officials from the Chauk District Department of Rural Development, responsible engineers from the company along with members of water distribution committee in the village jointly inspected the project. They urged the responsible people to meet the set standard within the deadline. 

            The plant measuring five ft in length and width and seven ft in height, installation of 10 KW power meter and related works are being conducted with K 23.06 million funded by Union budget. The project is being implemented by Zenith Creative Construction Co., Ltd., starting from fourth week of June. The project has now reached 90 percent completion and once fully operational, it will distribute 2,500 gallons of water per hour, according to an official from the District Department.
