Shwepyitha students visit national and space museums

STUDENTS and teach­ers from Basic Educa­tion Middle School No 13 in Shwepyitha Township visited the National Mu­seum and Space Muse­um in Yangon yesterday morning to learn about Myanmar’s history, cul­tural heritage and space science.

At the National Mu­seum on Pyay Road, they viewed historical records and ancient cultural ar­tefacts from different periods, while museum officials explained the museum’s history and its exhibitions on Myan­mar’s history and culture.

They later visited the Space Museum, where they explored the Deep Space Exploration and Space Station galleries, as well as exhibits featur­ing rockets, planets and stars, gaining knowledge about space and astron­omy. — Zwe Htet Ko (IPRD)/KZL
