Universities hold project shows
POLYTECHNIC University, Technological University and University of Computer Studies under the Department of Advanced Science and Technology hold annual Project Shows. During the 2025- 2026 academic year, 16 universities held Project Shows in their respective fields, while the remaining universities will continue to organize their events.
Yesterday, Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University held the 2025-2026 Engineering and ICT Project Show 2026, showcasing 94 projects in seven fields: Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Smart Automation & Embedded Systems; Green Technology, Sustainable Engineering & Smart Agriculture; Robotics, Mechatronics & Autonomous Systems; Software Engineering; Architectural Design; and Assistive Technologies & Public Welfare. Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw and officials, engineers and representatives of relevant associations attended the event.
Students from universities, colleges, technical schools and No 12 Basic Education High School in Ottarathiri Township visited the exhibition on the same afternoon.
Similarly, the University of Computer Studies (Yangon) also conducted the UCSY Product Show and Job Fair 2026, displaying 75 projects comprising 63 undergraduate and 12 postgraduate projects in Software Engineering, AI, IoT, Image Processing and Networking. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu, officials and experts attended, while representatives from 16 companies visited the event for employment opportunities. — MNA/ KTZH
