Agricultural tech training course opens in Mawlaik

TO create job oppor­tunities for rural resi­dents and supplement their family incomes, the Department of Ru­ral Development under the Ministry of Cooper­atives and Rural Devel­opment is conducting an agricultural technology training course in Tun­pin Village, Mawlaik Township, Sagaing Re­gion. Officials conduct­ed a field inspection of the training programme yesterday.

 

District Head Daw Than Than Myint of the Mawlaik District Department of Rural Development, Town­ship Head Daw Aye Aye Aung of the Mawlaik Township Department of Rural Development, and responsible offi­cials met the trainees attending the course. They discussed the ob­jectives of holding the training, urged train­ees to carefully study the agricultural lessons taught, emphasized the need to generate supple­mentary family incomes upon completion of the course, and coordinated necessary support.

 

A total of 20 train­ees from villages across Mawlaik Township are attending this liveli­hood-supporting ag­ricultural technology training. Experienced instructors are provid­ing free theoretical and practical training over a 12-day period from 7 to 18 September, covering topics such as the ben­efits of natural farming, the functions and roles of beneficial microor­ganisms, how using nat­ural fertilizers benefits the ecosystem, methods for producing fertilizer, and the preparation of Effective Microorgan­ism (EM) solutions. — Nyein Thu (Rural)
