MIU, Black Steel Papua reach International Futsal Cup Final
MYANMAR club MIU and Indonesia’s Black
Steel Papua advanced to the final of the International Futsal Cup 2026 after
winning their respective semifinals at the MFF Futsal Arena at Thuwunna
Football Stadium in Yangon on 10 September.
Black Steel Papua defeated Myanmar club
YRG 4-1 in the first semifinal, maintaining their unbeaten record and securing
a place in the final.
In the second semifinal, MIU drew 2-2
with YCDC Dream Team after twice taking the lead in normal time. MIU then won
the penalty shootout 4-1 to advance to the final.
YRG and YCDC Dream Team will meet in the
third-place play-off, while MIU and Black Steel Papua will contest the final on
12 September.
Both finalists have won every match so
far, meaning the champions will lift the trophy with a perfect winning record.
