Myanmar Kabaddi team leaves for India




MYANMAR Kabaddi Fed­eration President U Thant Ko Win and Vice-Pres­ident Ram Kishan (RK Ananda) left Yangon In­ternational Airport yes­terday morning to attend the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) Annual General Meeting in Hy­derabad, India, on 4 Sep­tember.


They were invited by IKF to attend the meet­ing, which will also be at­tended by representatives from around 50 countries, including Myanmar.


Kabaddi, a tradition­al Indian sport, combines strength, teamwork, agil­ity and intelligence and is widely played in more than 50 countries.


The Myanmar Kabad­di Federation will work to promote the sport and achieve success at the XXXIV SEA Games. — Bala/KZL
