Myanmar Kabaddi team leaves for India
MYANMAR Kabaddi Federation President U Thant Ko Win and Vice-President Ram Kishan (RK Ananda) left Yangon International Airport yesterday morning to attend the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) Annual General Meeting in Hyderabad, India, on 4 September.
They were invited by IKF to attend the meeting, which will also be attended by representatives from around 50 countries, including Myanmar.
Kabaddi, a traditional Indian sport, combines strength, teamwork, agility and intelligence and is widely played in more than 50 countries.
The Myanmar Kabaddi Federation will work to promote the sport and achieve success at the XXXIV SEA Games. — Bala/KZL
