Papun’s MSY Village Project implementation activities inspected

OFFICIALS from the Papun District Depart­ment of Rural Develop­ment, under the Minis­try of Cooperatives and Rural Development, conducted a field inspec­tion on 9 September to review the implementa­tion progress of the Mya Sein Yaung (MSY) Vil­lage Project in Ward (4) Village, Kamamaung.

 

District Head U Khin Maung Win of the Papun District Depart­ment of Rural Develop­ment, Assistant Direc­tor Daw Thet Thet Mar, and project staff met members of the MSY Village Project Com­mittee. They inspected the project execution status, verified wheth­er accounting forms were systematically completed, and ensured adherence to the project handbook guidelines, providing necessary guidance and instruc­tions where needed.

 

According to the Papun District Depart­ment of Rural Develop­ment, the MSY Village Project in Ward 4 Vil­lage has provided loans, totalling K46 million at an interest rate of 0.5 per cent (50 Pyas) to a total of 79 committee members: 11 engaged in agriculture, 38 in live­stock breeding, and 30 in trading. — Phue Lay (DRD)
