Some basic education schools temporarily closed in Htantabin Township due to flooding

                Three basic education schools in Htantabin Township have been temporarily closed following heavy torrential rains, according to the Township Education Officer’s Office.

                Floodwaters entered the school buildings and compounds, prompting the closure of B.E.H.S (Branch) Atwin Thaebyu, B.E.P.S (Tada-U) and B.E.P.S (Apyin Thaebyu) as a safety precaution for students.

                The schools will hold classes on every Sunday and Sabbath Days for missing school lessons instead of those holidays.
