YR Chief Minister watches Myanmar vs Sri Lanka in AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027 (Qualifiers)
AS part of the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027 qualifiers, the Myanmar U20 national team faced Sri Lanka U20 at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon yesterday evening.
The match was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu, regional ministers, officials from the Department of Sports and Physical Education, AFC Senior Vice-President and Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw, other officials and football fans. Myanmar defeated Sri Lanka 4-0.
Myanmar are in Group K of the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027 qualifiers alongside Sri Lanka, Brunei and the Maldives. They have three points from one match and will face Brunei on 3 September and the Maldives on 6 September. — Zwe Htet Ko (IPRD)/MKKS
