Paukkaung Township Completes Harvest of 711 Acres of Green Gram
PAUKKAUNG, October 1
Farmers in Paukkaung Township, Bago Region, have completed the cultivation of green gram in accordance with the target set by the Department of Agriculture and have so far harvested 711 acres, producing 14,795 baskets, according to the Township Agriculture Department.
A total of 1,134 acres of green gram were planted in Paukkaung Township this year in line with the agricultural guidelines. Of these, 711 acres have been harvested, with an average yield of 20.81 baskets per acre.
