Pre-monsoon tree-planting ceremony held in Pwintbyu Township

With the aims of greening the environment and reducing climate change, a pre-monsoon tree-planting ceremony was held at a monastery in Zeetaw village in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region on May 29.

At the ceremony, Chairman and members of Township Administration Council, departmental personnel, members of Township Women Affairs Association and Maternal and Child Welfare Association and local residents planted 200 saplings of the shady trees at the designated areas.
