Cash aid provided to offspring of members of MWVO in Meiktila Twsp.

A ceremony to provide cash aid to offspring of members of the Township War Veterans Organization was held at the office of the Township War Veterans Organization in Meiktila, Mandalay Region this morning.

During the event, chairman of the Township War Veterans Organization Major Than Naing (retd) delivered an opening speech. This was followed by the presentation of cash aid to offspring of members of the Township War Veterans Organization by Major Than Naing and vice chairman of the Township War Veterans Organization Major Nanda Kyaw Thu(retd).

Under this cash aid program, Myanmar War Veterans Organization provided Ks. 10000 to each of 96 primary school students, Ks. 15000 to each of 79 middle school students, Ks. 20000 to each of 47 high school students and Ks. 100000 to each of 34 University students.

In addition, the Township War Veterans Organization also provided Ks. 5000 to each of primary school students, Ks. 10000 to each of Middle school students, Ks. 15000 to each of high school students and Ks. 30000 to each of University students.—Thein Myint Kyaw(Meiktila)
