Construction of rural road in Mabein Township completed 100%

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of a rural road in Pwetoe Village in Mabein Township, Shan State(North) this morning, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

During the inspection tour, officials led by U Myo Zaw Tun of Mongmit Township Department of Rural Development met with members of village development committee and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

An earthen road which is one mile and three furlongs in length has been constructed by a tender winning company since the third week of June this year with Ks. 61.75 million of DRD’s funds allocated in 2022-2023 fiscal year and now, it was completed 100 percent, according to staff officer of  the Township Department of Rural Development U Naing The Aung.—Kyaw Soe
