Construction of eight rural roads completed in Shwebo Township

With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, rural development projects have been implemented since 2018 and now, a total of eight rural roads were completed in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

The road measuring 15 miles and five furlongs long and three concrete bridges, two box culverts and one pipe culvert on the roads were constructed with Ks. 474.59 million allotted by regional government.

The roads will benefit a total of 3420 farmland of 19368 people from 309 households in seven villages in the Township, according an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Than Than Soe(DRD)
