Strong winds destroyed some homes and parts of monastery in Kangyidaunt Township, Ayeyarwady Region on 13 March.

The strong winds hit Kangyidaunt Township at about 9:00 pm on 13 March and forced the trees to collapse on the roof of the monastery and destroyed parts of the monastery in Thawgon Village in the Township. In addition, strong winds also destroyed four homes in Thawgon village and one in Ziphyuchaung Village in the Township.
