Rakhine State CM receives cash donations for rehabilitation tasks

Rakhine State Chief Minister U
Htein Lin, in his capacity as Chairman of Rakhine State Disaster Management
Committee attended the cash donation ceremony for rehabilitation processes in
Cyclone Mocha-hit Rakhine State yesterday.
The Chief Minister received K50.8
million cash donation from well-wishers.
Then, he attended the opening
ceremony of farm machinery driving course for farmers held at Agriculture
Department and highlighted the one-season-free farm machinery rental of 14
power-tillers and 10 mini tractors to cultivate the monsoon paddy in time,
purpose of training course to use the machineries systematically and benefits of
training for the farmers.
The State Chief Minister handed
over the farm equipment for Sittway, Rathedaung and Pauktaw townships and
cordially greeted 36 trainees.
At noon, the Chief Minister
oversaw the loading of high-yielding paddy seed bags onto Kaladan-6 ship at
Mingan jetty of Inland Water Transport.
Then, they attended the
coordination meeting on rehabilitation processes at Rakhine State government
office. During the meeting, the working committees presented the rehabilitation
