DICA puts 7 companies on blacklist for unauthorized imports



THE Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) notified that seven com­panies have been blacklisted for pre-arrival of goods at the ports and airports.

 

DICA has already notified that the registrar will public­ly declare the deny list and weak compliance matters on the DICA’s website if compa­nies registered on the online registry system, MyCO, fail to comply with the existing law, rules and bylaws of the gov­ernment institutions concerned and provisions stipulated in the Myanmar Companies Law.

 

Seeking an import licence for the goods before arrival at the port is obligatory, and fail­ure to do so is subject to strict actions under the existing laws, as declared by the Trade De­partment under the Ministry of Commerce.

 

The Trade Department un­der the Ministry of Commerce informed DICA of listing sev­en companies on the blacklist, and they were flagged for ear­ly arrival of the goods at the ports and airports. They are no longer permitted to run businesses under the existing laws starting from 31 Decem­ber 2024. They are ANDA Com­pany Limited, BBJ Company Limited, Sky Virgo Company Limited, Yahza Naing Lwin Co Ltd, Fast Carriers Solutions Company Limited, J&W Hold­ing Company Limited and Gu Family Enterprise Company Limited. — NN/KK
