Fish stocking ceremony held in Letpandan Township

            An event of fish stocking was held in Tarseik Creek in Moeaie village-tract in Letpandan Township, Tharyarwady District, Bago Region on 20 August.

            With the aims of ensuring fish security, increasing fish recourses and creating job opportunities, Chairman of Township Management and Administration Committee and officials released 120,000 fingerlings of different kinds of fish species into Tarseik Creek.

            Present on the occasion were Chairman and members of Township Management and Administration Committee, Chairpersons and members of Women Affairs Association and Maternal and Child Welfare Association, departmental officials, social organizations and local residents.
